About Me
Hello, I’m Patricia, a Speech-Language Pathologist and pediatric feeding specialist dedicated to helping children and families navigate feeding challenges with confidence and support. As the founder and sole practitioner of Develop, I provide private-pay, in-home pediatric feeding therapy services to families throughout New York City.
I earned my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and am an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP). I have completed advanced training and certification in both the SOS Approach to Feeding® and the AEIOU Feeding Approach, allowing me to provide comprehensive, evidence-based feeding therapy that addresses oral-motor skills, sensory processing, food acceptance, responsive feeding, and family mealtime dynamics.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working extensively with autistic children and their families, supporting a wide range of feeding, communication, sensory, and developmental needs. This experience has strengthened my commitment to providing neurodiversity-affirming, individualized care that respects each child’s unique strengths, preferences, and learning style.
I believe that ongoing professional development is essential to delivering the highest quality care and from 2021 through 2024, I was honored to receive the Award for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, recognizing my commitment to advanced learning and clinical excellence. I remain actively engaged in continuing education and am on track to receive this distinction again this year.
My approach to feeding therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and family-centered. I work closely with parents and caregivers to create practical, achievable goals while helping children build the confidence and skills needed to enjoy a wider variety of foods and more positive mealtime experiences. By providing therapy in the comfort of your home, I am able to support feeding success within the routines and environments that matter most to your family.
Whether your child is experiencing picky eating, sensory-based feeding challenges, food aversion, oral-motor difficulties, or a pediatric feeding disorder, my goal is to provide expert guidance and personalized support every step of the way.
I look forward to partnering with your family and helping make mealtimes easier, more enjoyable, and more successful.
